No One Calls An Aussie A Cheat, Ya Hear?
I can't believe Haddin has the nerve to call Vettori claims poor and low! I have seen the replays of the infamous "glove incident". I didn't think for a second that Haddin did that purposefully, I did not even expect him to call Broom back. But you would think that having seen the replays, he could have apologised maybe? Or just acknowledged that the dismissal did not look right and said something like "We all should be careful in the future" like Vettori said? Too much to ask? I thought so!

yes megha, its too much to expect them to behave in any reasonable manner...they are ozies...got it?
Do they really expect us to believe all that crap they have been dishing out in response to the backlash?
I think the only headline in The Australian that mentions the incident is indicative of the way certain sections have chosen to view this incident: "Haddin hits back over glove wicket"
Ignore the incident as much as possible and if you have to report it, make sure it shows it was an Aussie who has been attacked.. not a kiwi thats been cheated.
The only time I've heard Ponting apologize is after being pulled up for being involved in a brawl in a redlight district in Australia... he "reformed", overcame Alcoholism and is now the biggest disgrace to international cricket since Daryl Hair took on the asian captains.
True achettup...reminds me of how Indian politicians act when caught in situations like these...
On a side note...is Bucknor to Australian Cricket what Tony Blair was to Dubya?
Lol Megha, I think thats a pretty fair comparison, the blair to dubya one that is. Ponting and Dubya have a remarkably similar smirk.
Btw, swap links?
'Course...I thought I had already blogrolled you.
Loved your "Ponting's email hacked" post btw :)
Thanks Megha, I think I've gotta lay off the Ponting and Aussie bashing... I'm beginning to get a reputation for being anti-Aussie... which isn't necessarily a bad thing... but you know.. actually f**k it, its more fun picking on them especially now. As Tiger Woods said "My dad always said when they're down, stomp on them" :)
I've added the link.
Cheers achettup
I for one will not flame you for an anti-Aussie bias at all. They are my favourite punching bag too.
The more you see them the more convinced you are that they have been poor ambassadors of their country.
Som, I wonder what they are capable of pulling next..can it get worse?
